Welcome to the new site
A quick note on why I built this site, what to expect, and the stack behind it.
After years of working on other people’s infrastructure, I finally put a little time into my own corner of the web. This is it.
Why a personal site
I wanted a quiet, fast place to keep notes — on networking and hosting, on the AI tools I’m experimenting with, and on the cars and machines I enjoy tinkering with. Nothing flashy. Just a place that’s mine, that I fully control, running on infrastructure I understand.
What to expect
I’ll write in a few areas:
- Engineering — networking, datacenter, cloud / VPS / hosting, DevOps.
- AI & Tools — notes and experiments.
- Passion — cars, machines, and the craft of building things.
- Faith & Life — short reflections and the projects I’ve walked alongside.
There’s also a Curated section in the works — short, summary-translated digests of interesting articles, always linking back to the original source.
The stack
This site is built with Astro for a static, near-zero-JS output, styled with Tailwind CSS, and hosted on my own VPS at 123Host behind Nginx and Cloudflare. Content lives in Markdown, versioned in Git — simple, durable, and fast.
Thanks for stopping by.
